KEF Robotics is an organized and ambitious software team that is transitioning aerial autonomy capabilities into products at a rapid pace. Our Pittsburgh office is seeking an Applications Solutions Engineer to integrate our software and hardware with customers' aircraft and execute our mission statement of supporting any camera, any computer, and any aircraft.

What you're responsible for

Interface with customers to understand their platform and requirements

Configure and customize KEF hardware and software for customer specific needs

Test and qualify KEF systems alongside customers and end users

Develop documentation and training for our partner integration engineers and test leads

Communicating customer needs to the rest of the team to influence future development
What we are looking for

Proficiency with C++ and Python

Experience in robotics

Experience programming for embedded environments

Familiarity with Linux and Linux tools

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Attention to detail
Bonus Skills

Robotics lab and field testing experience

Part 107 license with UAS and FPV flying experience

Familiarity with MAVLink and PX4, Ardupilot, INAV, or other autopilot software

Experience with Jira and/or other project management software

Familiarity with ROS / ROS 2 (Robot Operating System)

Clear, concise technical writing skills
