Embedded Software Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer who can solve complex software and hardware challenges, collaborate directly with customers, and turn real-world requirements into reliable, field-ready solutions.

What you're responsible for

Develop and maintain firmware for embedded devices, from early prototypes to production deployment.

Validate visual navigation payloads, including: payload architecture and integration; calibration, setup, and test procedures; field-ready configuration and troubleshooting

Implement low-level drivers and hardware interfaces.

Integrate sensors (IMU/cameras/time-sync) and ensure reliable data acquisition, synchronization, and logging.

Debug and test embedded systems in lab and field conditions; own root-cause analysis and fixes.

Create and maintain integration documentation and support materials for customers/partners.

Support customer trials and qualification testing, including onsite/remote technical support.

Translate customer feedback into clear technical requirements and improvements for the product roadmap.
What we are looking for

Proven track of hands-on firmware development experience for embedded systems.

Proficiency with C++ and Python
-
Solid experience with STM32 ecosystem, writing or modifying drivers
-
Experience in robotics and troubleshooting embedded systems in real time (timestamps synchronization, sensor issues).

Experience with custom wire harnessing

Comfortable working with Linux tools for dev/test.

Strong attention to detail (calibration steps, reproducible tests, clean release practices).

Empathetic and collaborative team player
Bonus Skills
-
Experience with computer vision / visual-inertial systems (camera/IMU pipelines, calibration concepts)

Drone piloting experience

Familiarity with MAVLink and PX4, Ardupilot, INAV, or other autopilot software
-
Familiarity with ROS / ROS 2 (Robot Operating System)
